Logo designed for the Department of Applied Art is a combination of curves, forming a cohesive window-like structure. The curved lines are designed in a way that they form a cohensive. Their connectedness is also a visual represention of the continuous evolution and growth of the department.

The colors of the logo are the primary colors, i.e. Blue, Yellow and Red which directly correspond to the colors used in the logo of College Of Art, Delhi. The concept behind the use of these colors is that they form the base for all the other colors, similar to the department of applied art.
